A manmade-slope is a protection facility that has been artificially excavated, then filled up to block the earth from moving down. To prevent disasters, Taipei City Government has established a manmade-slope information database and commissioned technician checking surrounding environment of manmade-slopes. The public can contact with Geotechnical Engineering Office, Public Works Department, Taipei City Government to obtain related information, or provide us address to conduct an on-site checking on manmade-slopes by technician. Taipei City Government authorizes the technician to the governing slope communities for the regular investigation and inspection check every year. (The frequency of investigation will increase in case of typhoon and earthquakes.) Once there are any unusual signs discovered by the technician, Taipei City Government will notify and suggest the slope communities to improve immediately. 24 Hillside Aggregations are still located in Taipei City. Over the years, there is no major disaster and the environmental monitoring results showed no significant change in those areas. According to the assessment there is no immediate danger and do not have to dismantle and relocate urgently. How to apply for using Kueichekeng Camping Field?

Kueichekeng camping field is only for online-applied with priority of application number. Once the quota is full, the application will not be accepted, including onsite-registration. Please make the reservation through the Internet and acquire the application number at least a week to 30 days before camping.

The duration of each camping activity applicationis limited to a two-day trip each time.
Document confirmation

The applier(the main responsible user, at least 18 years old, is responsible for all attendant members' safety during activities) must offer related information the day after the reservation within 5 days through Email or fax to competent authority. Required information as following:

Taipei City is a typical basin surrounded by mountains, where the origins of many creeks are located. The water flow for these streams is short and rapid. Because the streams are right by the residential areas in the mountains, the residents' lives and personal properties are easily threatened in cases of flooding caused by a silted riverbed.Over the years, Taipei City Government has been continuously working on restoring the wild creek and ecosystem. Besides the safety concerns that aim at preventing flooding and other disasters, the government is even more interested in keeping the local ecosystem and landscape. With conservation in mind, along with the nearby cultural, recreational, and industrial characteristics, the government is creating a convenient, low-cost, and precious recreational resources for the Taipei citizens. In the case of flagrante delicto, please contact Police Office first to stop the illegal construction.
